La Ca' Nova Barbaresco Box 2022 + The Dinner With Luca That Ends Dry January

Six bottles of La Ca' Nova Barbaresco 2022—one small, traditional estate seen through three very different vineyards—plus a private dinner at Passione Vino Shoreditch with Luca.

La Ca' Nova works from a nineteenth-century cascina in Barbaresco, with holdings in two of the village's great crus. Montestefano is deeper and more powerful, with dark fruit, spice and structure for ageing; Montefico is finer and more elegant, bright, mineral and focused.

The straight Barbaresco offers the estate's most approachable winery expression. All are made traditionally, with extended skin contact and long ageing in large oak casks. The 2022s are vivid and finely structured—delicious now, but also worth waiting for.

Each box includes one place at dinner on Thursday 21 January at Passione Vino Shoreditch, where Luca will set the table in our private room for the handful of people who take this box home, sharing the food and the wines he loves with the people who love them just as much.
