THE GRAPE
Vermentino.

THE WINE
This is the new vintage from Il Torchio, with substantial changes as it's now an orange wine with a few days on skin contact. Aromas of cider, with peachy white fruit with apricot and a sprinkle of nutmeg. The palate reflects the nose, with white blossom, tropical mix and a salty note on the finish. Ripe and approachable, with texture and minerality giving depth, and backed by lively acidity.

THE FOOD PAIRING
It is incredibly versatile - a brilliant wine pairing for anything fishy, herby or citrussy and a great wine for spring and summer drinking.
