For one night, Passione Vino surrenders to France. Six legendary Bordeaux, presented by Daniel Manetti.

This is the first chapter of The French Invasion, a new series dedicated to the world's greatest wines from France. Round one starts where every serious red wine conversation eventually does: Bordeaux.

Château Latour 2011 — Pauillac at its most powerful
Château Margaux 2006 — elegance, bottled
Château Haut-Brion 1998 — Bordeaux's oldest First Growth, at its peak
Château Cheval Blanc 2012 — Saint-Émilion's most coveted address
Château Trotanoy 2010 — Pomerol's quiet giant
Château d'Yquem 2020 — the greatest sweet wine on earth

Each wine is accompanied by the finest charcuterie and cheese, closing — fittingly — with a good blue cheese alongside the Yquem.
