Schioppettino is naturally high in Rotundone, the compound found in black pepper. It has a distinct peppercorn carachter along with green and floral notes. While schioppettino is most beloved for this expressive no - fruity aromas and flavours, high acidity lifts red and blue fruits as well., creating balanced, complex, medium bodies wines.
Food Pairing : Wild boar ragù, stews, slow-cooked meat dishes and goulash with polenta.
