THE WINE
A very traditional Montepulciano from the Marche, big, bold, old barrels, long fermentation, delicious. Grigiano Rosso Conero comes from 40 year old vines on a famous hillside steeped in the history of Marchegiana wine production. Grigiano's clayey, silt and rock soils yield a wine with a wealth of rich dark fruits, prunes and raisins over damson and blackberry. The fruit is interwoven with spice and vanilla from the lightly toasted oak.
