03.09 Luca & Friends: A Dinner with Conor Gadd from Trullo
For this edition, we welcome Conor Gadd, chef and co-owner of Trullo - shaped by Belfast, refined through years in London, and grounded in a love of Italian hospitality, his work brings together elegance, generous flavour, and a sense of warmth that feels distinctly his own. Earlier this year, Conor opened Burro, his first solo restaurant, in Covent Garden — a space he describes as part Irish country-house kitchen, part Italian fifties bistro, built around warm woods and marble. The name means "butter" in Italian, and the food follows suit: hearty, generous Italian cooking.
Conor will present a menu inspired by the dishes that have shaped his reputation based on seasonal ingredients, surely mushrooms - porcini, girolles, wild, duck and figs for a surprise menu! In response, Luca will open a selection from his cellar, reserving bottles usually kept for the most memorable tables.
