In this Pinot Nero from Friulia, the wooden notes are very well integrated with sour cherry and blackberries, white pepper, and cinnamon hints. The taste is dry and savoury, with a predominance of red fruits like cherries, gentle tannins and pleasant crisp acidity. Aged in second passage tonneaux and new barrique for several months.
