The Barbagia. A little-known region in the savage heart of Sardinia, but from where comes some spectacular wines.
Barbagia has a winemaking heritage that stretches back millennia. Yet it is only recently that winemakers have taken the initiative to truly put Barbagia on the map. They have done this by remaining faithful to the artisanal methods used by their ancestors to work the indigenous varieties of Cannonau and Granatza. We are happy to have introduced three of the region’s most exciting producers to the Passione Vino family.
Upstairs in our Secret Room we are holding a Masterclass on the wines of Barbagia. Join Luca for an evening focused on the wines of this fascinating region. The Masterclass will comprise a tasting of 6 wines accompanied by sharing platters with food typical of the region.
