THE WINE
Capestrano. Biodynamic winery in the green heart of the National Park of Abruzzo, nestled in a valley next to the Gran Sasso Mountain. Only natural or "wild" yeasts are used in the vinification of this wine. Lemon-gold in colour, aromas of ripe lemons and tree fruits complement the undertones of herbs and wildflowers. On the palate, crisp acidity and a full body lead to a pleasing finish where layers of complexity are gradually unveiled.

 

THE PAIRING
 its refreshing nature acts as an equaliser when paired with creamy dishes like risottos, spaghetti alla carbonara; if you're in the mood for a bite of meat, consider pairing this wine with a plate of roasted turkey and vegetables. The vino's crispness will do well in neutralising the meat's rich and gamey flavour.
