THE GRAPE
100% Nebbiolo from the elevated Cerrati cru in Serralunga d’Alba. This historic vineyard is known for producing Barolo with depth, aromatic intensity and a commanding sense of place.

THE WINE
Cerrati arrives with the volume turned up: dark cherries, dried rose, liquorice, wild herbs, plum, balsamic notes and warm spice. There is depth here, but also a fine thread of freshness that keeps the wine moving. The tannins are noble and persistent, the finish long and mineral, with the kind of seriousness that makes you stop talking for a moment. A proper meditation Barolo.

FOOD PAIRING
Brasato, venison, roast pigeon, fonduta with white truffle, slow-cooked beef and hard, mature cheeses. Food with the same patience as the wine.

Tenuta Cucco has helped bring the Cerrati cru back into the conversation after years away from the spotlight. The estate works organically, harvests by hand and gives its Barolo the time it needs in large traditional barrels and bottles.
