THE GRAPES
Vermentino Nero mainly + Sangiovese + Canaiolo + Syrah e Barbarossa.
THE WINE
When approaching this wine, you can't miss the strong sense of terroir, which start from the nose.
A mixture of marine saltiness, enveloping freshness, a wide range of red fruits like cherry, red forest fruits and some delicate orange zest. The wine is so alive with an incredibly captivating bouquet.
Then you have your first sip, and you won't be disappointed. You'll find the same freshness and mouthwatering salinity combined with a mix of subtle spices, which will lead you to another sip, and before you are aware of it, the bottle is gone!
Whole bunches fermentation, 10 days of skin maceration. 12 months in tonneaux followed by 8 months aged in a bottle before release. Only 900 bottles were produced.
THE PAIRING
A fantastic wine to enjoy even with fatty fish, fish soup like Caciucco and of course amazing with meat ragu and the classic red meat.
