THE WINE 
This wine is vinified and matured in buried amphorae. It has an amber and robust appearance, with pronounced tannins. The aroma highlights notes of undergrowth, nuts, and almonds, with hints of spices, yellow-fleshed fruits, and citrus in the background. Strong and bold, yet maintaining a commendable balance, this wine offers a lasting presence, even when the glass is empty. Remarkable.


But for the curious
The grape variety known as Malvasia Puntinata is synonymous with Malvasia del Lazio. Due to its high sensitivity to most vine diseases, many producers have replaced it with the more resistant but lower quality Malvasia di Candia. Today, there is a progressive replanting of this variety, and it is not uncommon to find excellent wines made exclusively from Malvasia del Lazio.
