For this next act in our Il Circo series, we welcome a dear friend and true pioneer of Britain’s artisan cheese movement: Patricia Michelson, founder of the iconic La Fromagerie.
From a serendipitous encounter with a wheel of Beaufort in the Alps to building one of the UK’s most respected cheese institutions, Patricia’s journey is full of passion, charm, and dedication to craft. With three celebrated London shops, a renowned wholesale arm, and a voice that has shaped how we talk (and dream) about cheese, Patricia has long been a beacon for food lovers across the country.
For one evening only, she’ll join Luca Dusi at Passione Vino for an intimate, flavour-filled event where knowledge, storytelling, and conviviality flow as freely as the wine. Patricia will guide us through a thoughtfully curated flight of cheeses, while Luca selects and matches each one with the perfect wine — drawing from his deep cellar and intuitive approach to pairing.
Expect plenty of oohs and aahs, a little theatre, and the kind of conversation that meanders from maturing rooms to long-lost meals.

🧀 Trentingrana (Trentino mountain cow’s milk cheese)
🧀 Basajo Blue (Veneto Ewe’s Milk blue cheese wine-washed)
🧀 Pecorino Saraceno (Sardinian Ewe’s milk cheese, aged)
🧀 Piacentinu Ennese (Sicilian Ewe’s milk cheese with saffron & pepper)
🧀 Pecorino a Caciolla (Tuscan Ewe’s milk soft country style cheese)
🧀 Pecorino Pratantico Rosso (Tuscan tomato and olive oil rubbed cheese)
🧀 Ubriaco Amarone (Veneto a Vezzena Vecchio cheese submerged in a barrel of vine pressings)
🧀 Gorgonzola Dolce (Lombardo Cow’s Milk soft blue, from Lodi in the heart of the cheesemaking area)
Plus a bonus tasting of 4-year Parmigiano Reggiano paired with a lively glass of Lambrusco.
