When world-renowned winemaker Carlo Ferrini creates his own wine, it's impossible not to be excited. In this case, he has crafted a Sangiovese that showcases his decades of experience with this grape, as if seen through a lens of intense passion. His moderate use of wood, aging the wine in 700-liter tonneaux, enhances the clarity and character of the grape and the unique terroir (only 1.5 hectares of prime Brunello sites) in a quintessential expression.

Expressive and full of character, the 2019 vintage displays concentration and structure, with notes of red plums, wild strawberries, cedarwood shavings, mandarin juice, lemon zest, crushed ginger, and celery. Wild thyme and marjoram provide a subtle backdrop, while the fresh cherry, rose petal, and grapefruit notes bring grace and authenticity to the profile. Medium-bodied with beautifully mature tannins, it finishes with elegance—subtle, enveloping, and deeply satisfying. Each sip is thrilling, making you want to drink it again and again.
