Palagrello Bianco

THE WINE
The grape Pallagrello is one of the native grape varieties driving the renaissance of the Campania wines. The Pallagrello is a complex and very delicate grape. The bouquet pleases your nose with hints of honey, broom, and peach; the palate is soft, rich and balanced, and has long persistence. A savoury wine that displays blanched almond, beeswax notes to the moderate star fruit and melon. Grapefruit notes on the long finish. Aged on lees and nautral oak for a few months.

THE PAIRING
Sautéed mushrooms along with fresh herbs, baked oysters with a ground red pepper, breadcrumb and Parmesan cheese toppings as well as fresh buffalo mozzarella.
