Palagrello Nero. 


THE WINE
Pallagrello Nero is a wine variety mainly grown in Campania. This indigenous variety declined sharply during the 19th century due to the phylloxera epidemic and the economic destruction of the Second World War. This variety was extinct until it was rediscovered in an old Campanian vineyard. Floral aromas of violet and geranium, fruity and spicy notes, black pepper and juniper. The palate with medium structure, excellent tannic component and a soft and enveloping flavour. Twelve months in oak barrels, 7 months in bottles.
