THE WINE
The name supplement Hautnah refers to the fermentation of whole grapes on the skin (14 days of maceration). Firm, dense, smoky and bacony, also distinctly tart-vegetable nose, reminiscent of celery, with rather restrained stone fruit aromas, yeasty notes, yellow spice and minerality. Very fine acidity, plenty of grip of ripe tannin, gooseberry and peach, nutty tones, has power and depth, with a spicy finish.
The flavour presents hints of . Aged for 12 months in the oak cask.

Sylvaner is an ideal accompaniment to an aperitif or to asparagus and fish dishes.
