Maso Bergamini TERRE BASALTICHE Extra Brut Riserva Trento DOC, N/V – Trentino Alto Adige

"Terre Basaltiche" from Maso Bergamini is a Trento DOC brut of beautiful intensity and smoothness, boasting a significant structure. The vineyards that yield this Trentino excellence sprawl along the northern hills of Trento, characterized by excellent exposure and a climate particularly favorable to the cultivation of high-quality wine.

Maso selects Chardonnay grapes, obtaining a sparkling base with great structure and acidity. In the spring following the harvest, the tirage in the bottle is executed according to the classic method, and then the sparkling wine is left to mature for over three years. At the end of the cycle, the sparkling wine is disgorged and topped up simply with Chardonnay.

This Trento DOC Extra Brut sparkling wine, produced using the classic method, originates from a selection of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir grapes, cultivated using certified organic methods at an altitude of 550 meters. The cultivation of these vineyards is best expressed on soils with a basic volcanic matrix, ensuring minerality, complexity, and longevity to the bubbles.
