Franco Rocca's "Cantina del Bricchetto" farm, located on the hills of Neive in the heart of the Langhe, is a small family-run business and cultivates about 4.5 hectares of vineyards, from which it produces about 25,000 bottles a year.

Venticinque Filari is, as the name suggests, produced from 25 (long) rows of Nebbiolo in Franco Rocca’s Borgata Sterpone vineyard. It has a ruby red hue in the glass with all the delicacy that we love about a young Nebbiolo. As typical of Franco Rocca’s wines, long ageing in French and Slovenian oak barrels have resulted in a wine that is balanced yet without the oak being too overpowering. Notes of black pepper and clove give way to tobacco that play together alluringly. In the mouth, there is a harmony that is typified by mature plums offset by fresh oregano. A freshness persists on account of its gentle acidity.
