About Sergio ... 
After his Viticulture and Oenology Bachelor's degree and several experiences far from his native land, Sicily, he felt the need to return with the idea of producing a rebellious wine as a pure expression of himself, what he's learnt along the way and the terroir he calls home. So he purchased a hectare of vineyard in Casteltermini (Agrigento province) between 600 and 550 m above sea level, overlooking the Platani Valley in the heart of the Sicani mountains. These plants sink their roots in this poor soil of chalky-calcareous matrix.

In the small 1.3-hectare vineyard where his wines are born, there are three varieties: Nero d'Avola, Perricone and Catarratto. A wide diversity characterizes this small parcel.
