THE GRAPE
Verduzzo Friulano.

This variety was already recognised in the mid-1800s as one of the most typical and representative of the varieties that originated in Friuli.

THE WINE
Forty-eight hours of skin contact. Intense yellow gold. Bouquet of wildflowers and stone fruits, apple, pear, nectarine and apricot.
Whilst most Verduzzo produced in Friuli are sweet, this one is dry and pleasantly tannic, with robust expression with an almondy finish. Walnut, Apricot, Acacia.

FOOD PAIRING
Extensive pairing from cooked vegetables to challenging green beans, artichokes, cabbage, and Brussels. Chicken and game bird dishes, either roasted or grilled.

THE WINERY
Located in Farra d’Isonzo, an outpost of the Collio Goriziano, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the BRESSAN winery is quite unique. In today's turbulent ocean of quick industrial fixes and shortcuts, BRESSAN Mastri Vinai is a philosophical lighthouse, and Fulvio Bressan is an unmissable character.

He is passionate about life and winemaking and lives life on his terms. He is opinionated but at the same time has logical reasons for his viewpoints.

Fulvio studied in France, Bordeaux, with the director of Chateux Margaux, his mentor.
