THE GRAPES
Trebbiano + Grechetto.

Grechetto and Trebbiano are a great Italian alternative to unoaked Chardonnay or Pinot Gris.

THE WINE
An intense bouquet that recalls the herbaceous scents of the Trebbiano grape, and very ripe yellow fruit, mainly yellow peach.
Smooth on the palate with a pleasant warm sensation from the alcohol content, balanced by good acidity and minerality. The light presence of tannin leaves the mouth pleasantly dry.

FOOD PAIRING
Semi-aged and blue cheeses, white meats and wild mushrooms.

THE WINERY
The female energy that powers the Buccianera winery has three tireless generators: Anastasia, Alessia & Roberta.
These three sisters, the 5th generation of winemakers of the estate, took over the entire management in 2014 when their father passed away.
"Buccianera" comes from the grandad's nickname, which means 'dark skin'.
Anastasia's grandad had lived in the vineyard his whole life; due to the number of hours spent under the sun in the fields, he had very dark skin, coloured and thickened.

The Buccianera estate lies on one of the most beautiful and highest hills of Tuscany, in the Arezzo municipal district, at altitudes varying from 250 mt to 600 m. above sea level.
