Ca de Noci “Le Rose” Emilia Bianco IGT (2022) – Emilia Romagna
THE GRAPE
Malvasia aromatica
THE WINE
Sparkling wine made from aromatic Malvasia grapes, produced using the bottle fermentation method. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level, situated on gravelly soils with high levels of silt and gypsum formations. After manual harvesting, the grapes are left in the cellar overnight for natural cooling. They are then destemmed and directly pressed in a small manual press. The free-run juice is cooled during pressing and added to the base wine before bottling, initiating natural bottle fermentation, which completes after about three months. The wine then undergoes a long aging process in the bottle.
Le Rose has a light golden yellow color. On the nose, it displays a rich and broad aromatic profile with notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and white peach. On the palate, it is fresh with a crisp, saline finish. This sparkling wine offers a delightful and aromatic experience, perfect for those who appreciate a well-balanced and refreshing wine.
