THE WINE
Cascina delle Rose is a small family estate making all the Piedmont classics in a slow, thoughtful, quality-focused way. Their Barbera is a lovely, full-bodied example of the style with plenty of depth and excellent balance. The wine is aged in traditional Slavonian oak casks for 15 months. Deep ruby in the glass, this Barbera emits bright, concentrated red fruit flavors with a touch of spice. On the palate, the tannins are well-integrated, the acidity brisk and the high-toned fruit flavors perfectly balanced.

THE PAIRING 
This wine is incredibly versatile and can easily be enjoyed on its own or with pizza, pasta and roast meat dishes.
