La Ca' Nova Barbaresco MONTESTEFANO DOCG (2020) - Piemonte

Grape : Barbaresco. 

Sage, mint, lavender and plum develop in the glass, but it is the wine's resonance and overall richness that leave a lasting impression. Enticing, earthy aromas of iris, camphor and dark-skinned berry mingle with truffle, leather and wild herb on this full-bodied red. Hailing from one of the best sites in Barbaresco, it's firmly structured and incredibly delicious, delivering raspberry compote, ripe Marasca cherry, tobacco and licorice alongside youthfully assertive, noble tannins.  

Food Pairing : rich meat-focused dishes like braised short ribs, beef roasts, lamb shoulder, or veal chops. Here you'll find that the smoke and earthy qualities of the wine are complemented by the dish.
