“Téra” Trebbiano Ravenna IGT, Fondo San Giuseppe (2016) - Emilia Romagna
The grapes come from two small vineyards facing north, at an altitude of 400 metres next to woodland from an old vineyard planted in 1970 and 1980. Given the altitude, northwards exposure and poverty of the soil, the overall grape production is low and the grapes give the wine a very good concentration. Distinguished by a straw yellow colour, with an expressly varietal olfactory spectrum, with the aromas typical of Trebbiano grapes, recalling freshly mown grass, jasmine and a mineral note. Elegant in the mouth, with a body that is not opulent but with well-balanced freshness and minerality. The wine can benefit from ageing in the bottle for a few years, giving it complexity and elegance.
Food pairing : Lasagna with radicchio, speck and scamorza.__
