A'VITA ROSATO - A'vita
Rosato, 100% Gaglioppo - this grape is a delicious, rare find from Calabria that is the child grape of Sangiovese and sibling to Sicily's Nerello Mascalese. 12 hours skin contact, 6/7 months on its lees into Stainless steel vats, so no oak involved - this helps the wine to maintain a fresh floral and fruity bouquet and palate. Intense, wild strawberries, pink, red undergrowth fruits and Mediterranean scents wrapped in sea salt! Organic, Artisanal, Indigenous yeasts, Independent Winegrowners.
CARIGLIO '18 - Terre Nobili
100% Magliocco, rare grape from Calabria, Rich, round, oozing southern intensity and sweet spice which match perfectly with the spicy salame. For us, this is also the perfect warming wine, that simply cuddles you with his richness and softness. The winery is run by the charming Lidia Matera who worked very hard to recover the ancient species of vines of the area. She dedicates herself in making wines that are the truly representation of the land they come from and you won't find easily out of the region. Unmissable.
